As a Surf Life Saving Club we are forever mindful of our members and regular supporters.

With our function hiring policy we endeavour to ensure The Glenelg Surf Club is available for club members and supporters, whilst providing non-member general public access.

After all as a club we are exactly that - a clubroom for surf lifesaving members, supporters and seaside lovers alike. 

We do have various restrictions on exclusive hiring of the facility.  

Friday and Saturday evenings are open for bistro meals and general bar trading all year round and are generally unavailable for complete venue exclusive hire*.

*However, The Glenelg Surf Club Function Room is available for hire during these restricted times accommodating for celebration groups (up to 100 cocktail style or 60 Formal Sit-down).

The room is a beautifully presented environment which offers the same high profile service and boasts the same spectacular views. Located at the Southern End of the clubroom, this is available for hire for gatherings, parties and functions all year round, including Friday and Saturday nights. 

The Function Room can provide a fully partitioned area with access to the Main Room and the Bar. 

We are happy to look at functions to use the Club exclusively or look at using the main area, however as you can appreciate your event needs to be sufficient to cover costs that this would incur.
