Sprinters doing it on the track

Georgia Hext had a great meet, running extremely well in the South Australian Athletic League U17 70m race on Sunday. She performed solidly in the early rounds and made it to the final with some fiery determination. After a cracker start she finished a very promising 3rd in the final. A great result considering she is coming back to competition after knee surgery. 

A new GSLSC junior member Georgia Corcoran also ran on the weekend. On her debut, she ran a blistering 4th in the U14 550m final, performing well against a solid field of athletes. She is a promising new competitor within our club.
