Hiring The Glenelg Surf Club Facility?

The Glenelg SLSC is available for hire.  We are popular for daytime conferences, workshops, receptions and birthdays.  The venue features conference standard lighting, large screen data projector, 3 plasma TV's which can also act as data screens, fully intergrated sound system with 4 zones.

Hire fee's plus catering and beverage packages are available on request.

Restrictions for exclusive hire on Friday and Saturday nights

We do have various restrictions on exclusive hiring of the facility.  Friday and Saturday nights are open for meals and general bar trading all year round and are generally unavailable for exclusive hire. Additionally Sunday nights between October and April are generally unavailable for exclusive hire. We do however hire out our conference/function space, a beautiful environment which offers the same high profile service and boasts the same spectacular views [see hiring options below]. Mid-week functions and conferences can be arranged all year round. Please call (08) 8295 6165 for more details relating to our hiring policy.

With our function space hiring policy we endeavour to ensure The Glenelg Surf Club is available for club members and supporters whilst providing non-member general public access. After all as a club we are exactly that - a clubroom for surf lifesaving members, supporters and seaside lovers alike. 

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday we like to keep the club available and accessable for our members and the general public to enjoy. The Surf Club Glenelg serves bistro meals which are available from Thursday `til Sunday. Including Saturday and Sunday ALL DAY BISTRO. Breakfast from 9am `til Midday and Lunch and Dinner sittings from 12.30pm until 9.00pm. Please ensure you book your tables because these service periods are extremely popular and do book out regularly. 

Friday and Saturday night hiring options

For smaller groups (upto 100 cocktail style), who do not require the entire facility, the Training Room is available for hire, located at the Southern End of the clubroom. This can be hired for gatherings, parties and fucntions all year round, including Friday and Saturday nights.  The Training Room can provide a fully partitioned area with access to the Main Room and the Bar.
