Olympic Honour

The Club is very proud and delighted of the fact that Hannah Davis has been selected in the Australian Olympic Team and will be representing Australia in the field of Kayaking.

Hannah has grown up through the Glenelg SLSC and has achieved some great results in Surf Life Saving as well as in the Kayaking area. Her dedication has resulted in her selection and there is no doubt that when she lines up to race against the rest of the world all members will be cheering her on.

Hannah, from all members of the Glenelg SLSC congratulations and we wish you success in your quest for Olympic glory - we will be cheering the green and the gold - Hannah is working on getting the team to wear the Glenelg Club Competition Cap, albeit may not be successful with this challenge....!

Also well done and congratulations to Chris Alagich and Anna Haymes who also participated in the Olympic Trials and narrowly missed selection, a great achievement by these two wonderful members.

Big Hair is Back!

In the 1970's hair was big (see picture) - apparently it is on its way back - just ask any of the young guns running around the club at the moment!
