New members to the Glenelg SLSC are always sought after. Whether a potential champion competitor, a beach lover, or someone who enjoys the magnificent surrounds of the Glenelg foreshore, the Glenelg SLSC has something to offer. New members will find the atmosphere of the club very inviting, and provide a basis for meeting many great new friends.

Glenelg SLSC offers new senior members training to complete their bronze medallion. This includes most training resources that are required (such as consumables and manuals) plus a highly competent instructor helping you along the way.  The bronze medallion is a requirement if patrolling duties are to be carried out. As bronze training is structured as a group activity, new members will find it a great way to meet fellow new members, have a laugh, and learn invaluable lifesaving techniques.

Membership Category Description Amount ($)
Senior (Open)
A senior member is any person over the age of 18 and considered to be an active patrolling member (includes marchers).  Includes costs for entry into Senior State Championships (does not cover Australian Title fees).  Includes member discount card for members who hold either the Surf Rescue Certificate or Bronze Medallion.

Family
A family membership includes all immediate family members excluding children over the age of 18 (2 Adult Seniors/Associate/Supporters, 2+ juniors).  Includes above categories items as appropriate. Includes member discount cards for adults and SRC holders.

Under 18
Under 18 is any person under the age of 18. Includes costs for entry into Senior State Championships (does not cover Australian Title fees). Includes member discount card for members who hold either the Surf Rescue Certificate or Bronze Medallion.

5 and 6 year old members eligible are in the 'Tiny Tots' program.
Under 14 is any person under the age of 14.
Includes costs for entry into Junior State Championships, insurances and membership for the season.

New Senior
A New bronze senior member is any person over the age of 18, that is new to the club and wants to get their Bronze. Includes training manual and patrol uniform and all other benefits applicable elsewhere for this age group

A New Under 18 member is any person under the age of 18, that is new to the club and wants to get their bronze. Includes training manual and patrol uniform and all other benefits applicable elsewhere for this age group

Club membership for patrolling members (16 and above) includes access to the gym.

Glenelg S.L.S.C Supporters Club Membership

Social membership packages are available.  Details below. Register interest at gslscmanager@adam.com.au  Social registrations are accepted at the club anytime the bar is open to the public.

 

Social Member ($100)


This is the base level supporter membership of the Glenelg Surf Life Saving Club.  Membership package includes;

   > 2009/10 GSLSC membership card

   > Discounts for food and drinks

   > 2009/10 membership sticker


Other Levels

The Silver, Gold and Platinum membership (limited numbers) is for supporters who want to enjoy more of the GSLSC facilities. For more details contact us.
