Murray 100

The June long weekend saw many members head to the Murray to spend a quite few days paddling some 100km's.... yep we are a strange mob!

Murray 100 Group

• Greg Daw, Peter Armstrong, Geoff Harvey, Geoff Norris and Chris Maylin beat the fastest time for the Open Men's Surf Boat - doing it in 8:40:34 (knocking a huge 1 hour off the fastest recorded time for this group)
• John Kither beat the fastest time for the Men's 45 single ski - doing it in 8:35:51 (about 5 minutes faster than the fastest recorded time for this group)
• Sarah Goodwin set the fastest time for the Women's Open Single Ski - doing it in 9:04:38
• Stephanie Finn beat the fastest time for the Women's 55 TK1 - doing it in 9:08:22 ( a massive 2 hours and 30 minutes faster than the fastest recorded time for this group)
• Craig Burton and Shane Daw beat the fastest time for the Men's 45 K2, and also got the third fastest time overall for the event this year  - doing it in 7:16:29 (11 minutes faster than the fastest recorded time for their age group)

Mini Marathon Group

• Alex Daw achieved the fastest overall combined time for the 3 mini marathons - and the fastest for an Under 18 K1 - doing them in 2:58:01
• Laura-May Harris and Tom Burton achieved the fastest combined time for the 3 mini marathons for an Under 18 K2 - doing them in 3:00:56
• Josh and Chris Kither achieved the fastest combined time for the 3 mini marathons for an Under U16 Double Ski  - doing them in 3:05:50
• Ryan Burton and Anton Vizzari achieved the fastest overall combined time for the 3 mini marathons for an Under U16 TK2 - doing them in 3:17:56

Peter and Cameron Marshman were the Master Chefs and took care of everyone at the camp site… did an amazing job.
